How-To: Upload Your Video and EDL to DeliverME

In this guide, you’ll learn how to upload your first DeliverME project. Please make sure you have your .mov and .edl file ready to upload.

How to Upload A New Video to DeliverME

From the left side menu bar, click on DeliverME

From this page, you’ll click on the purple Plus button

The upload video window will pop up.

1. Drag and drop your video file

Please ensure that your video file is a .MOV or .MP4 file, is less than 5 GB in size, and has your timecode_IN embedded in it’s metadata.

2. Drag and drop your .edl file

Next, drag and drop your .EDL file into the Video Only EDL window and click the purple Upload button.

3. Video Processing Options

On the next window, please select one option from the three, typically most people select Facial Recognition.

Then verify the episode name and number are added and are correct. Then click Next.

4. Verifying your Files

From here, our system will analyze your video file to ensure that the starting timecode is correct, typically that’s 01:00:00:00.

However, if it’s missing, or not 01:00:00:00, you’ll be able to manually input or verify the correct timecode based on your .EDL file.

This video has no timecode metadata. However, this video has a starting timecode of 01:00:00:00, so you’d enter that into here.

This video has a timecode, but it’s not 01:00:00:00. Since it detected a starting timecode, you would enter 23:59:54:00 to confirm that it’s correct.

5. Submit and Close

Once you enter in the correct timecode, or if the system detects it, you’ll see a green checkmark and the starting timecode. You can press “Submit & Close” to finalize your upload if everything is correct.

Once you submit you’ll need to wait for the system to process your video, this can take several hours depending on the server load. If it’s still processing, you’ll see “Generating…” in the AI Analysis column.

Once it’s complete, you’ll see “Completed” and you’ll be able to go to Manage>View to open up the project and start building out your deliverables.
