Adding in talent information is an important part of the rights and clearance process in MEsuite.
When you upload your videos into DeliverME, our AI will search through your documents and attempt to match the faces in your video to the photos attached to your appearance releases and search for talent images. If you do not import any talent, our system won’t be able to identify them.
Ideally, your post-production team should be tasked with importing Talent into ReleaseME, as they’ll have access to more images and screenshots of your talent after the editing process.
The process is easy, but you’ll need to prepare a few things before getting started.
🪧 It’s important to upload talent BEFORE uploading your fine cut into DeliverME as our system will need that for the AI to reference.
Overview:
Before uploading your video edits into DeliverME, you’ll have gone through the process of adding releases for everyone who appeared in your shots. However, talent goes through a different process so you might not have added them into ReleaseME. However, we have a very simple way of adding them in, and several photos as they might appear in your video, to ReleaseME. Here’s how to do that:
Preparing Your Talent Files For Import
- First, you’ll need to prepare at least 5-6 images of the talent and a PDF Contract of some sort. The more photos you can provide our AI, the better it will be at identifying them.
- For the photos, this can be a mix of talent photos your production team might have, or screenshots from your edit. However, please be sure to upload any instance of your talent where they’ve changed looks, wigs, facial coverings, or facial hair.
- Second, our system requires you to add a contract. If this is something that you don’t have access to, you can simply add in a dummy document. To do that create a word document with anything written in it, export it as a PDF and import that. To help speed things up, you can download our dummy document below:
Importing Your Talent Files
-
Select the Documents tab, select Signed Releases, then the Talent tab, and then click on import.
-
This will open up a contract import modal where you’ll add their information. Simply type in the talent’s name and click Next.
-
Then drag and drop the dummy document (PDF) into the Contract section.
-
Next, you’ll drag and drop their photos in the Photo section.
-
Then click Confirm to save the information.
Conclusion
That’s it! Once your release has been imported successfully, your system can identify your talent when being processed in DeliverME.
