When streaming using a LiveU, it can be beneficial to connect to a local Wi-Fi to increase your signal coverage
Below are the instructions for connecting the LiveU Solo encoder to Wi-Fi. If you need full instructions on how to stream, please view this page instead: How-To: Start A Stream Using A LiveU Solo
π‘ Please note that you can connect the LiveU Solo to a hotspot. However, it is always recommended to first try connecting to the Home or Business Wi-Fi.
Since hotspots are simply a cellular signal, sometimes their connection is not as solid a signal as the home or business Wi-Fi. Therefore, we always recommend that users first try connecting to home or business Wi-Fi and testing the strength of the stream before connecting the LiveU Solo to a hotspot. If you have access to an ethernet port instead, we recommend using ethernet first.

Follow these instructions to connect your LiveU Solo to Wi-Fi.
