Export settings for your video editing program for import into DeliverME.
Uploading your video file into DeliverME is very simple. At the minimum, all you need is to have your video and .edl file ready.
However, to get those files ready for upload, there are specific settings that you need to have when exporting from your video editing software.
This article will go over some of these settings.
Overview
The main requirements for DeliverME are the following:
- The whole video needs to be 5 GB’s or less
- Max resolution is 1080p.
- Ideally, it should be a .MOV file, but an .MP4 file will work as well.
- It must be in H.264 format
- You must include a video .edl file
- Not required, but ideal - embedded sequence timecode in the video that matches your .edl file.
Beyond these settings, here are a few export settings that will help ensure a good video for DeliverME:
1. Export Settings
You’ll want to export the video as a .MOV file or at least a MP4 file. Be sure to select Use Marks and Use Selected Tracks.
